Charity Regatta benefiting New York Harbor Foundation
Friday, September 18, 2015
We look forward to seeing you Friday, September 18 for the fifth annual NY Harbor Regatta at Governors Island! Our Regatta production team will be in touch via email with specific details on your participation, but a brief overview follows. Email us anytime at email@example.com for more information. Thank you for your support!
SAILORS: Report to West Side docks between Battery Park and Pier 25 on 9/18 at 1:00pm for a 2:30pm race start. Regatta producers will email your team departure dock and SI’s 9/14. Also, plan to have a team rep attend the Skippers Meeting on 9/17 from 6:30-8pm at Pier 15 in Hornblower Cruises gallery.
SPECTATORS: NEW this year, we will reintroduce a full spectator fleet featuring different cruise experiences from Harbor partners including Classic Harbor Line and NY Water Taxi! Guests joining us for the afternoon spectator cruise (then continuing on to the Regatta Bash and after-party) will report to West Side docks between Battery Park and 23rd Street at 2:00pm – we will share departure dock information and details 9/14.
BASH GUESTS: For guests joining for the Regatta Bash, we will have ferries leaving the Battery Maritime Building (10 South Street, next to the Staten Island Ferry) every 30 minutes starting at 5:30pm. We ask that guests arrive at least 10 minutes prior to boarding. It is a 10 minute ferry ride from Manhattan to Governors Island, and then just a short walk to the Regatta Bash on the Beach – and to the NY Harbor School MAST Center, where we will be hosting student-guided tours from 5:30-7:30pm. Ferries will depart Governors Island every 30 minutes from 6-10pm to head back to Manhattan. As guests depart the 10pm ferry on the Manhattan side, we guide guests to the official Regatta After-Party presented by Clarksons–Platou – this is just a short walk from the ferry at Pier A in Battery Park. Here is a map from the Battery Maritime Building (ferry) to Pier A.
